Saint-Gobain Glass product training with a workshop entitled “Agile and Scrum using LEGO simulations”
Saint-Gobain Glass product training combined with a workshop entitled “Agile and Scrum Framework using LEGO simulations” can be summarised as follows: a wealth of knowledge, a high level of engagement, a fantastic atmosphere, focus on the goal and communication in a safe workshop environment.

The first day of the training Magdalena Lipińska provided us with a considerable amount of knowledge about Saint-Gobain Glass. We learned about products such as:
- ORAÉ® – the world's first glass with a reduced carbon footprint,
- MIRALITE® EASYSAFE – silver safety mirror,
- the MIRASTAR® product range,
- decorative ornamental glass – master, modern, classic, vintage and industrial lines,
- TIMELESS® - corrosion-resistant glass.
The product knowledge gained on the first day of the training was enthusiastically put to use the next day, when Marzena Westgate conducted a LEGO Scrum workshop for us.

It was quite an event! The groups were assigned a plan to carry out – building a house in accordance with the investor's expectations (Magdalena and Marzena played this role). There was time to prepare the plan, build, consult with the investor, continue building and consult again in separate time sprints. It turned out that without communication with the investor... well... it could get tricky at times. The creativity of the teams was incredible. When there was not enough LEGO to continue building, they used everything they could find on the worktables. Of course, Saint-Gobain Glass was used in the construction, e.g. MIRALITE® EASYSAFE as a large safety mirror or TIMELESS® in a walk-in shower enclosure.

The workshop presented us with challenging tasks, allowing us to take a closer look at the natural roles within the team and the characters of the employees as well as to identify potential future problems. The task forced the team members to organise themselves independently and divide up the issues; moreover, it revealed individual characteristics such as leadership skills, strong motivation and creative ideas. However, the primary goal of the Agile workshop was to show why communication is so important and what proper information transfer is all about.
It was LEGO that made us realise how important it is to maintain proper contact with the customer at every stage of the sales process, from placing an order to its execution and delivery.
